Perhaps increasingly known in popular culture by the upsets and upheavals of Mercury Retrograde, this supremely mutable Messenger of the Gods carries both good and bad news.
 
In this illustrated lecture - taught by professional diviner, consultant sorcerer, and historian of magic, Dr Alexander Cummins - we will explore various folk magical means of working with Mercury and its spirits to adapt, to connect, to understand, and to
communicate. These techniques are drawn from ancient incantations, medieval and early modern handbooks of ritual magic and spirit conjuration, and even some modern approaches to surviving and even thriving during the next Retrograde!
