The Tarot by François Heri (Solothurn, 1718) is a masterwork of the golden century of European tarot, engraved by Swiss master card-maker François Heri in the Swiss city of Solothurn during one of the most vibrant periods in tarot's history.

This limited facsimile edition of 3,000 hand-numbered copies was realized by Yves Reynaud and Wilfried Houdouin of Tarot de Marseille Heritage in partnership with the Historical Museum Blumenstein in Solothurn and is based on a copy preserved in the Swiss National Museum of Zurich.

The deck is particularly prized for the unusually well-preserved integrity of its iconography, which gives the cards a distinctive and coherent character rare among decks of the period. Following the standards established by his French contemporaries, Heri produced a deck that sits firmly within the Tarot de Marseille tradition while carrying the refined character of Swiss craftsmanship.

The set includes 78 cards plus two presentation cards in English and French, each measuring 2¾ x 4 15/16 inches, and is presented in a decorated box. For collectors of historic Tarot de Marseille reproductions and anyone drawn to the regional diversity of early European tarot tradition, the François Heri Tarot is a rare and carefully produced addition to any serious collection.
