The morrigan is an enigmatic irish war goddess, a powerful sorceress and shapeshifter who foretells the doom of soldiers and brings them defeat or victory, as she sees fit. She often takes on the form of a crow, gliding over battles. In some mythology, she’s also seen as a territorial protector. In this new version, she is painted with a medieval irish ring pommel sword.
