This class offers a multidimensional animist exploration of the role of plant lore in modern witchcraft practice. In this two hour workshop we will engage in guided meditation, grounding and setting of intentional energetic space, folklore discussion, discuss techniques to connect to living and dried plants and trees, learn how to give offerings to our allies, discuss the ethics of modern plant magic, and how to forge holistic long term relationships with the spirits of plant life and their guardians.

We encourage attendees to have these optional ingredients ready at the start of class: 

*1 unlit candle

*A glass or vessel of water

*A bowl or plate with a sweet food offering

*Any living or dried plant allies that you favor

About the Presenter: 

Nick is a professional witch and witchcraft educator with over 35 years of experience working with clients and students in both public and private settings. Ordained and initiated in a variety of tantric yoga traditions (Mahayana Buddhism), and a teacher of yoga teachers and psychics, his classes and workshops are influenced by the intersection of classical yoga theory and modern witchcraft practice. Nick is also the Owner of Hedgecraft Ritual Arts where he incorporates active work with plant allies in his readings and spell crafting for students and clients. Operating through a multidimensional animist lens with a focus on Greek folklore, Nick’s content welcomes all traditions at all levels and can be approached in a purely secular way.
