An introductory session will include exploration of the history and folklore of Circe as  embodiment of Titanic force of queer witchcraft, examination of how her three main aspects are the three main practices of modern witchcraft, and how we can apply and adapt this info to our individual needs.

August  8 Lions Gate Portal: (online only)

A guided ritual self initiation into Kirkean  Witchcraft. 

This ritual presentation will offer: 

• guided grounding and setting of intentional energetic space
• Chant
• Spirit-flight
• Spirit  offerings
• Deity Yoga (an introduction to Circe and her Island) 
• A unique Kirkean Witch-Fire empowerment to enhance and grow the three dimensions of our practice.

Content  is suitable for all levels and all traditions, and can be approached in  a purely secular way.  Expect to participate in ritual and feel free to  be creative with altars and set up.

Optional  ingredients to have on hand:

• rosewater (or clean drinking water)
• a dish or container to pour out libations
• a representation of Circe (could be the  Strength card from your favorite deck)
• a broom or other ritual objects
• a piece of hawk’s eye stone (a simple tumbled hawk’s eye or  can be set in jewelry or other device. Clean and clear the stone through any technique {can just be run under cold water from the tap}

August 9 Divination: (online only)

A discussion and review of Divination for groups and individuals, and the crafting of a daily Circe based practice for witches.

Nick has been crafting and guiding rituals since the 1980s based  on Greek folk magic, modern witchcraft theory, and the techniques of  yoga. Nick is also the owner of Hedgecraft Ritual Arts, and has been reading Tarot Cards for over 35 years. Originally taught how to read playing cards by his Greek/Roma family members, he took up Tarot as a natural extension of what the playing deck offers. His first (official) paying job was as a reader and spirit channel at a witchcraft shop in northern Massachusetts in the late 1980s. He has gone on to build a large clientele base of long term and repeat customers- many of  whom started with him in the 80s! In addition to his mastery of cards Nick has been practicing Witchcraft, Yoga and Meditation as a student and teacher for decades. His time spent as a Buddhist monk (Tantric tradition) and a Yoga teacher leader and teacher of teachers deeply informs his approach to Tarot, Divination, and Spiritual Work.
