Add an air of mystery and intrigue to your library with our Shadow Play ex-libris bookplates. Crafted on traditional gummed paper, this set of bookplates features a haunting 1700s illustration of two skeletons drawing back a curtain. A perfect nod to the vanitas tradition, this design embodies life's fleeting nature and the beauty of intellectual pursuits.  Gummed paper is coated with an adhesive backing that requires water to activate (similar to traditional stamps). Once the adhesive is activated, the paper will adhere to the front pastedown of your book.
