To love one's body is a radical act. This weekly class is designed to increase bodily awareness through stretching, conditioning, breath work and repetitive exercise, combining into an art form that is at once ancient and deeply relevant to the modern world. Open to all genders and experience levels. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
About the Artist: Samara is a Salem-based performance artist, teacher, event producer and weirdo. The dance child of Neylan in Providence and Tempest wherever she roams, Samara has combined her extensive dance, theatre and performance art training into her own unique style of snaky, statuesque, pop-and-lock bellydance.
