This piece is made with a real diaphonized mouse, carefully preserved and sealed in a heart-shaped glass vial, electroformed in copper with a teal-colored rainbow fluorite crystal. Look closely to see all of its tiny bones!

Diaphonization is a preservation technique invented in the 1970s to get a better look at a creatures anatomy. Also referred to as "clearing and staining," it uses chemicals to first remove all color, then dye the muscles, bones, and cartilage.

This piece measures about 2 inches in length, and comes on a 24-inch antiqued copper snake chain.
