It is formed from elemental forces, millions of years of time and great pressure that has transformed the root and wood of the Indonesian Palm into beautiful crystal formations. It really looks like frozen smoke. In some cultures a casket or coffin is a symbol of the Self, the inner void that surrounds and protects from all aggression.
